The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) attacked a Hezbollah cell traveling on motorcycles in the Al-Ukayda area, located next to the security zone where Israeli army forces operate. This was announced on July 5 by the IDF press service.

"The IDF launched a targeted strike against them to eliminate the threat," the Telegram channel said in a statement.

It clarifies that the group's actions posed an immediate threat to the military.

On July 4, the IDF attacked the Majdal Zoun area in southern Lebanon, as a result of which an armed man was eliminated. The press service announced its intention to continue eliminating any threats to Israeli citizens.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on June 26 that the IDF would remain in a "security zone" in southern Lebanon until Hezbollah was disarmed. He described the negotiations between Israel and Lebanon that took place in the United States as an important achievement for the country.
