The footage shows concerned civilians gathered at several houses in one of the districts of Kyzyl. The representative of the authorities appeals to them to disperse, but the people remain in place. According to the Izvestia source, the shamans informed them that there might be girls in one of the buildings.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the search has been going on for the fifth day. More than 700 volunteers are involved in the search, 190 search groups have been formed, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the republic reported. Professional rescuers, volunteers from the National Center for Missing Children, the Sayanispas detachment and other organizations are involved in the work.

Vladislav Khovalyg, the governor of the region, urged his countrymen to remain calm and trust only official sources of information. He noted that law enforcement agencies are doing their job, and at such a difficult moment it is not worth aggravating the situation — everyone's consciousness is most important now.

"All official information about the progress of the case will be brought to you in a timely manner and first-hand. Please trust only trusted sources," Khovalyg added in a message on the Maks messenger.

The fact that two girls disappeared in Tuva became known on July 2. It was noted that the friends went for a walk around 18:00 Moscow time on Wednesday, July 1. One of the places where they often liked to spend time is the territory of school No. 12 in the city of Kyzyl.

In addition, mobile phones were found during search operations in the area of the dam in Kyzyl. It was noted that the search was continuing, and the circumstances of the children's disappearance were being established.
