Art critic and writer Irada Berg has died at the age of 53. This was reported on July 5 in the Telegram channel of the Committee for Culture of St. Petersburg.

"The art critic and writer Irada Tofikovna Berg (Vovnenko) has passed away," the message says.

Since 2003, she has worked in the international department of the Tsarskoye Selo State Museum-Reserve and participated in the restoration of the Amber Room. During the same period, Irada Berg began holding charity children's balls at the Catherine Palace.

She began her literary career in 2006 with the children's book "The Magic Kaleidoscope. Petka's journey to the land of History". Since 2015, she has been a member of the St. Petersburg Writers' Union.

Since 2009, Irada Berg's activities have been associated with St. Isaac's Cathedral. She headed the Department of External Relations and Cultural projects, led the exhibition department and international cooperation, and later served as director of the memorial Museum.
