Naftogaz of Ukraine reported fires at energy facilities

Large fires and significant damage occurred at several energy facilities in the Poltava, Kharkiv and Sumy regions. This was announced on July 5 by the Ukrainian company Naftogaz.

"Large fires have occurred at several facilities, and there is significant destruction," the company said in a statement on its Telegram channel.

It is noted that the operation of a part of the equipment has been stopped. The extent of the damage will be assessed later.

Large-scale fires were recorded in Kiev and the Kiev region on July 2. According to emergency services, fires were in Darnytskyi, Shevchenkovsky, Goloseevsky, Pechersk and Obolon districts. It was noted that a helicopter was deployed to eliminate fires in the capital.
