Holidays that help to forget that Russia is conducting a special military operation are wrong and divide the people. This was stated by director Nikita Mikhalkov at the opening of the XXI International Film Festival of Family and Children's Films "In the family Circle" in Yaroslavl.

"Such conscious celebrations, which are organized by people who understand that someone is fighting, arrange them both for those who are there and for those who are here to help overcome this time. This is a real and necessary holiday. Holidays that help to forget that Russia is leading its own are wrong and divide the people," Mikhalkov said, as quoted by RIA Novosti.
