A drone of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation "Molniya" struck the Ukrgazvydobycha gas station in the Industrial district of Kharkiv. This was announced on July 5 by the mayor Igor Terekhov.

"A Lightning-type drone attacked a gas station in an industrial area. We are clarifying the consequences of the attack," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the gas station building was destroyed and a fire broke out. The control room, gas station and cars were on fire. GSCHS units were involved in the elimination of the consequences.

An employee of the gas station told the Ukrainian newspaper Novosti Live that the staff did not hear the drone approaching because of the noise of the refrigerator — only the impact itself. The staff immediately ran out and took refuge in a shelter. After the attack, a small fragment burned in the sand, but by the time they came out of hiding, there was no fire.

On the same day, the Russian Armed Forces attacked gas stations in the Chernihiv region, which were actively used to supply vehicles to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In the areas of the settlements of Gorodnya, Novgorod-Seversky and Snovsk, three gas stations were destroyed by strikes of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) "Geran-2 Seeker" and "Geran-4 Seeker".
