The Russian Foreign Ministry said Europe was unable to offer constructive ideas on Ukraine

Currently, Europe is hardly able to offer constructive ideas for resolving the Ukrainian conflict. This was announced on July 5 by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin.

"As for the recent frequent statements by European leaders about the need to "talk" with Russia, primarily in order to resolve the Ukrainian crisis, they continue to side by side with calls to inflict a "strategic defeat" on our country," he shared in an interview with RIA Novosti.

The diplomat noted that such contradictory logic indicates the inability of the European side to propose meaningful initiatives.

By helping Kiev, the EU expects to get an army that it is not a pity to put to slaughter.

Russian Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said on July 5 that the Ukrainian side and its European partners were betting on prolonging the conflict. He added that Russian troops would take control of the remaining fortified areas, no matter how the Kiev regime clung to them.

Dmitry Polyansky, Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, said on June 25 that the European Union plans to directly enter into conflict with Russia after the defeat of Ukraine. He also stressed that Western countries are intensively and rapidly preparing to enter the conflict, "demonizing" Russia.
