A fighter of the Russian Armed Forces reported on the use of plastic explosive devices by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on FPV drones

The militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) massively use improvised explosive devices with plastic damaging elements on FPV drones, which are not detected by X-ray machines. This was announced on July 5 by a fighter of the 18th Combined Arms army with the call sign Vorobey.

According to him, we are talking about small plastic fragments that, if they enter the body, can cause damage, while they are difficult to detect using standard medical methods.

"The enemy uses damaging elements in the form of plastic on FPV drones. <...> I have a case, I have three plastic fragments. And they are not visible on the X-ray and just start to rot under the skin.. Yes, they got it," the soldier told RIA Novosti.

Vorobey noted that such elements outwardly look like small balls and can leave superficial wounds that at first glance seem insignificant. It is noted that such injuries are difficult to diagnose during the initial examination, which can lead to complications in the future.

"It doesn't work with a magnet or an X-ray. At first they didn't see him, it seemed like there were scratches and scratches. But then there were problems," he added.

The soldier stressed that such ammunition is artisanal and is used massively.

A marine soldier of the Vostok group of forces with the call sign Ulov on July 4 said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Zaporizhia region are increasingly using drones for remote mining, disguising explosive devices as ordinary household items. The fighter noted that objects that may not arouse suspicion are used as disguises, including food cans, bottles, first-aid kits, cigarette packs and other household items.
