Peskov commented on Zelensky's words about Konstantinovka

Moscow welcomes the willingness of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to come to Russia to negotiate a settlement of the conflict, but the meeting will not be able to take place in Konstantinovka, since it is not the capital. This was announced on July 4 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"If in this way Mr. Zelensky expresses his willingness to come to the Russian Federation, we welcome it. But we would like to remind you that President Putin has spoken about his willingness to receive him in Moscow. After all, Moscow is the capital of the Russian Federation, not Konstantinovka," he said on Komsomolskaya Pravda radio.

Peskov recalled that Konstantinovka, contrary to Zelensky's statements, had completely come under the control of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The Kremlin representative added that the head of the Kiev regime could come to Moscow "as soon as he is ready to make important responsible decisions." Peskov did not specify which decisions he was talking about, but indicated that Zelensky was "well aware of this."
