One child was killed and another injured in an accident in Primorsky Krai.
In the village of Khvalynka, a car collided with an ATV ridden by children aged seven and six, as a result of which one child was killed and the other was injured. This was reported on July 4 in the press service of the Primorye Prosecutor's office.
"The driver of a JAC T9 car collided with an ATV driven by a minor. As a result of the accident, a seven—year-old boy died from his injuries, and a six-year-old child was hospitalized," the publication says in the Maks messenger.
It is specified that the prosecutor's office took control of the progress and results of the procedural check. The supervisory authority plans to assess the legality of allowing minors to drive a vehicle.
On June 2, three teenagers were injured in a pit bike accident in Naro-Fominsk city district. Police officers are investigating all the circumstances of the incident. Based on the results of the audit, a decision will be made in accordance with the procedure established by law.
