Sergeant Yefremov destroyed two Ukrainian Armed Forces attack UAVs with small arms fire

Andrei Yefremov, a junior sergeant of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, who is carrying out tasks to deliver ammunition to the positions, destroyed two unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and saved the equipment entrusted to him. This was announced on July 5 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

It is specified that during the task, the soldier was moving through a forest belt, where he was attacked by enemy FPV drones. Dismounting and taking up a firing position, he destroyed two attack UAVs with small arms fire, after which he continued to move to the positions of the Russian units and delivered the cargo.

In addition, the calculation number of the D-30 howitzer, Private Sergei Skvortsov, who was carrying out a combat mission to support assault units, destroyed an aerial reconnaissance point and an enemy vehicle, and also discovered and eliminated an AFU FPV drone. The Russian Defense Ministry noted that the military acted despite artillery and mortar attacks from Ukrainian militants.

Thanks to Skvortsov's courage and professionalism, it was possible to save the artillery installation and the lives of the crew, as well as prevent the disruption of the combat mission of fire support for attack aircraft.
