The Constitutional Court of Armenia confirmed the results of the parliamentary elections held on June 7, after considering lawsuits challenging the results of the vote. This was reported on July 4 in the press service of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Armenia.

"To keep in force Resolution No. 259-A of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Armenia "On summing up the results of the next elections to the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia dated June 7, 2026". <...> This Resolution is final and comes into force from the moment of its publication," the publication says.

It is clarified that several opposition political forces have filed lawsuits with the Constitutional Court, including the blocs "Strong Armenia" by Samvel Karapetyan and "Armenia" by Robert Kocharyan, the parties "Prosperous Armenia" by Gagik Tsarukyan, "Wings of Unity" by Arman Tatoyan, "Democracy, Law, Discipline", founded by blogger Vardan Ghukasyan, pro-Western The "Union of Defenders of Democracy in the Name of the Republic", as well as the "New Force" of the former Mayor of Yerevan Hayk Marutyan.

Agency NEWS.am On July 4, it was reported that five opposition political forces in Armenia announced the beginning of a new stage of political resistance after the decision of the Constitutional Court on complaints about the results of the parliamentary elections. In a joint statement, the parties noted that the court's decision does not eliminate the issue of the legitimacy of the formed government, does not correct, in their opinion, the violations committed in the elections and does not resolve the political crisis in the country.

According to the election results, only three political parties entered the Armenian parliament following the results of the last elections: Pashinyan's Civil Contract party — 49.7456% (726,819 votes); Strong Armenia bloc — 23.271% (340,060 votes); Armenia bloc — 9.923% (144,983 votes).
