In the Zaporizhia region, as a result of an accident in the energy saving system, 14 municipalities were de-energized. This was announced on July 4 by the governor of the region Evgeny Balitsky.

"Due to an accident in the power supply system, 14 municipalities of the Zaporizhia region remain partially de-energized," the message in the Maks messenger says.

The governor clarified that the outages affected Kamensk-Dneprovsky, Vasilyevsky, Tokmak, Pologovsky, Mikhailovsky, Chernigov, Priazovsky, Kuibyshevsky, Berdyansky, as well as Primorsky and Melitopol municipal districts and the cities of Energodar, Melitopol and Berdyansk.

Balitsky added that experts are working to fix the problems. According to him, socially significant facilities were connected to backup power sources.

On July 3, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea, Yuri Gotsanyuk, announced that four cities and three districts in the republic were without electricity due to external influences. According to Gotsanyuk, due to technological disruptions on the main networks, electricity supply in Armyansk, Krasnoperekopsk and Dzhankoy was temporarily stopped. Partial restoration of power supply is planned within the next 24 hours, however, the timing may vary depending on the complexity of the work.
