Sergunina spoke about the capital's program for the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity

More than 300 cultural venues of the capital in different districts have prepared a program for the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity, said Deputy Mayor Natalia Sergunina. The main part of the events is scheduled for July 8. Festivals, film screenings, creative workshops, excursions, lectures and much more await Muscovites and tourists.

"About 450 events will be held in city parks, libraries, museums and cultural centers. Participants will get acquainted with the history and traditions of the holiday, make gifts for their loved ones with their own hands, attend concerts and performances," Sergunina said.

On July 8, the Krasnogvardeisky Ponds recreation area will host a performance about the relationship between parents and children, and the Moscow State Defense Museum will host a production about the patron saints of family and marriage, Peter and Fevronia. On the same day, creative lessons, puppet theater performances and quests await visitors in Sokolniki Park. The Folkovo festival of the new Russian style will be held here on July 11 with fabulous interactive programs, performances by ensembles, round dances, and master classes.

On the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity at the State Darwin Museum, children will be able to compile their family tree and create a family coat of arms, and at the Gaidarovets House of Culture they will be able to learn about when this holiday became a symbol of strong bonds and sincere feelings.

On July 8, Zaryadye Park will host a screening of collections of Russian designers made in the traditional style in the format of theatrical performance and dance numbers. Until September 27, the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve offers to visit an exhibition of paintings by participants of the All-Russian art competition "Family — the Soul of Russia".

In addition, rich programs will be prepared in the park of the 50th Anniversary of October, Lianozovsky Park, Vorontsovo Manor, Kuskovo Forest Park, Gogol House, Library No. 128, the M.A. Sholokhov Cultural Center and other cultural venues in the city.
