Sobyanin reported the destruction of 62 UAVs on approach to Moscow
Over the past 24 hours, more than 200 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been flying towards the Moscow region. This was announced on July 4 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.
"Over the past 24 hours, more than 200 drones have been flying towards the Moscow region. Most of them have been neutralized by air defense forces on distant approaches. 62 enemy UAVs were destroyed on approach to Moscow," he wrote on the Maks messenger.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the air defense forces destroyed 389 Ukrainian UAVs over Russian territory last night. In particular, drones were shot down over the Krasnodar Territory, the Moscow region, the Crimea, the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.
