Konstantinovka is a "complex object" that opens the way to the Kramatorsk–Slavyansk agglomeration. This was reported to Izvestia on July 4 by military observer Daniil Bezsonov.

"This is a very complex city with serious buildings. <...> There are many multi—storey buildings, there is also a factory area," he said.

According to Bezsonov, the Russian military personnel who liberated the settlement on July 3 carried out tasks in extremely difficult conditions.

The expert stressed that the significance of the incident should not be underestimated, and expressed gratitude to all the servicemen who participated in the operation, calling it extremely difficult.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on July 3 that Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People's Republic had completely come under the control of Russian troops. According to him, Konstantinovka is an important settlement that the Ukrainian forces have turned into a large fortified area. He noted that, despite this, the city was completely liberated thanks to the heroism of the Russian fighters.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on the same day that the capture of Konstantinovka by the Russian Armed Forces was an important stage in the destruction of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kramatorsk-Slavyansk fortified area.
