The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has begun the transfer of an anti-aircraft machine gun battalion near Chernigov

The Ukrainian command is transferring units of the 638th separate anti-aircraft machine gun battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) from the rear areas of the country to the Chernihiv region. This was reported on July 4 in the Russian law enforcement agencies.

"The enemy continues to transfer personnel to the border areas of the Chernihiv region. Additional units of the 638th separate anti-aircraft machine gun battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been deployed from the rear areas of Ukraine to this sector of the front," RIA Novosti reports.

It is specified that this unit should cover the bases of manpower and equipment of Ukrainian militants from Russian unmanned aerial vehicles.

On July 3, Russian law enforcement agencies reported that Ukrainian formations from the 159th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine had suffered heavy losses in the village of Bely Kolodez in the Volchansk area of the special operation and continued to transfer reserves from the rear areas of the Kharkiv region to hold the settlement.
