In the context of a prolonged conflict that has entered a phase of opposition and economic confrontation, the country especially needs unity, endurance and concentration. This opinion was expressed on July 4 by political analyst Dmitry Solonnikov in an interview with Izvestia.

"Society must be united in this area and in terms of the resources that we will use for this, and personnel, and competencies, and the organization of the management structure. A very serious task. Our country has worked in such conditions many times. Now we have to do it again. And we will have to win," he said.

The expert also stated that Ukraine's proposals for a temporary truce and interim agreements resemble previous initiatives. In his opinion, such calls indicate either that the opponents underestimate Russia, or they themselves misjudge the situation.
