The Air Defense forces destroyed seven Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles that were flying towards Moscow. This was announced on July 4 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

"The attack of seven drones was repelled by the air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense. Emergency services specialists are working at the crash site," a message on the Maks messenger said.

Thus, the number of drones shot down on approach to the capital increased to 39.
