Power outages in the Republic of Crimea caused by strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on energy infrastructure facilities affected 14 municipalities and nine cities of the peninsula. This was announced on July 3 by Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic Yuriy Gotsanyuk.

"The reason for the temporary restrictions was technological disruptions in the network caused by external influences — the Ukrainian Armed Forces' strikes on energy infrastructure facilities," he wrote in the Maks messenger.
