Three criminal cases were opened against a resident of Stavropol for stealing seedlings from flower beds.

A resident of Stavropol is suspected of stealing coniferous tree seedlings and flowers from flower pots in the city center. He hunted at night in a pair with an accomplice, the press service of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.

The attacker was identified using surveillance cameras, writes IA StavropolMedia. The police examined the recordings and conducted operational search activities. The man was taken to the department, where he confessed everything.

It turned out that a 42-year-old local resident had been out for a few weeks with a relative and digging up plants. Saplings were found at the detainee's house, which he used to plant his yard.

Three criminal cases were opened against the Stavropol resident under Part 1 of Article 158 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Theft". His involvement in other similar cases is being investigated. The amount of damage caused to municipal property is not reported.
