The collector accident in Kislovodsk has been eliminated for more than three days

In Kislovodsk, an accident at the collector has been repaired for more than three days, which flooded more than 10 houses on Tyuleneva Street. Repair work is underway almost around the clock, the press service of the Mayor's office reported on Friday, July 3.

The collector failed on July 1, writes IA StavropolMedia. To restore it, the water supply had to be stopped on 23 streets of the city and in the Narzan Gallery. The next day, all restrictions were lifted.

Specialists quickly determined the exact location of the damage, diverted water and dug up the accident site. All necessary equipment has arrived for repairs. Now utilities are also examining other networks for a breakthrough.

There was also a hole in the asphalt at the accident site. The base of the sand-gravel mixture was washed out under the road surface due to heavy rains. Presumably, the material got into the collector and caused its obstruction.
