The nursery "Tokhoy Saplings" from Buryatia exports fruit and berry and ornamental saplings to Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan. The plants are adapted to the harsh climate, the press service of the republican government reports.

The company is located in the Selenginsky district. All plants were bred under the guidance of Valentina Danzanova. They successfully take root in different natural conditions — from the Moscow region to Kamchatka.

Since 2025, the nursery has supplied more than 23.4 thousand seedlings abroad, and in the spring of 2026 ‑ almost 9 thousand. New contracts have already been signed for the fall.

As noted by IA UlanMedia, the export growth became possible thanks to the national project "International Cooperation and Export". In addition, the nursery participates in the ecological project "Billion Trees" initiated by the President of Mongolia.

Earlier it was reported that Buryatia exported 325 tons of Russian-made cheese, yoghurts and milk to Mongolia in the first five months of 2026. Dairy products accounted for the largest share, 50%.
