"Expensive detailing or preventive maintenance is not always reflected in the final price. The details that form the first impression are much more important: the cleanliness of the interior, the well—groomed appearance and the feeling that the car was regularly monitored," he said in an interview with Lenta.Ru .

Kamilov noted that there are simple actions that significantly improve the perception of the car and can affect the final price. For example, restoring the color of faded exterior plastic with a silicone compound will take five to ten minutes, but it will make the car more well-groomed. Also, after washing, rub the tires with a blackener.

"If the headlights are slightly dimmed, they can be refreshed with a special cleaner without a full polish. Dirty doorways and thresholds give the impression of careless operation, so they need to be wiped with a damp microfiber cloth before being shown," he recommended.

The auto expert also advised to remove everything unnecessary from the cabin: phone holders, wires, organizers and garbage. It is important to wash the glass from the inside, and the most contact elements — the steering wheel, gearbox selector, buttons and door handles — must be degreased with a special cleaner.
