On July 2, the girl went to the forest to pick chanterelles and, contacting her parents, informed them that she was returning home. They searched for the child all night — later they found out that she had gone out on the road between the gardening.

The girl's body was found on the morning of July 3 near the Zahozhye farm, and a criminal case was opened into the incident.
