Residents of the Pskov region gave 3 million rubles to fraudsters

Over the past week, residents of the Pskov region have given more than 3 million rubles to fraudsters. A criminal case has been opened on each fact.

The scammers used various deception schemes. They presented themselves as employees of various organizations, as well as relatives of the victims. The Pskov news feed writes about this.

As a result of the fraud, several residents of Pskov and Nevel suffered. They transferred funds to "secure" accounts, lent money to "relatives," and also lost money when buying and selling goods.

In Magadan, a 47-year-old woman gave almost 3 million rubles to fraudsters. The victim was persuaded to transfer her savings to a "secure" account under the pretext of threatening to hack her personal account on the Gosuslugi portal.
