Finland criticized Helsinki's assistance to Ukraine

Finland's increased support for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) is madness. This was announced on July 3 by Armando Mema, a member of the Finnish Freedom Alliance party.

"The craziest thing is that Finland is now allocating €300 million more for the purchase of drones for [carrying out] attacks by Ukraine on Russia. Finland's military support for Ukraine is only growing," he said in a message on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

Mema drew attention to the fact that recently the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, even thanked the Prime Minister of Finland, Petteri Orpo, for assisting the Armed Forces of Ukraine in purchasing a large number of unmanned aerial vehicles.

A member of the Freedom Alliance party expressed the corresponding criticism after Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, included Finland, which lifted the ban on the deployment of nuclear weapons on its territory, in the list of targets of the Russian Federation.

Amendments to Finnish legislation lifting the ban on the import, manufacture, storage and use of nuclear weapons in the republic were approved on June 17.
