Liksutov spoke about the introduction of metro services at Leningradsky Railway Station

For passenger comfort, Leningradsky Railway Station has implemented the same services that operate on the metro, on the Moscow Central Diameters (MDC) and on land transport. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

"Moscow transport is the number one in the world in terms of the number of convenient and modern services. Years of systematic work have allowed us to create high standards of service and an environment where every passenger is comfortable," Liksutov emphasized. According to him, the share of trips by public transport today reaches 70%.

The deputy mayor called the integration of railway stations into the Moscow transport system "a logical step in the development of the capital." "Our goal is for passengers to seamlessly and comfortably transfer from the metro, MDC or land transport to a long-distance train. On behalf of Sergei Sobyanin, we are forming a new standard of a railway station at Leningradsky Railway Station — modern, understandable and convenient at every stage of the journey," Liksutov said.

In particular, now at Leningradsky Railway Station, people with limited mobility are accompanied by inspectors from the Passenger Mobility Center. They help passengers all the way from entering the station building to boarding the right train. Assistance is provided to the disabled, the elderly, and parents with children. In addition, the station has a unified standard for handling forgotten items.

The station has digital navigation, which provides online directions to trains, waiting rooms and other useful facilities. All the signs are made in the same style of Moscow transport, the principles of information placement are fully consistent with the navigation system in the subway and on the forecourt.

As for audio information, experts have made the announcements brief, eliminating excessive sound load on the listener. The announcements are preceded by new elements of the Moscow Transport audio brand, created specifically for Leningradsky Railway Station.
