According to experts, the number of mass-market models among Chinese brands is decreasing due to the transition to local production. The average price of the brand's car from China in June was 4.05 million rubles, which is 13.3% higher than a year earlier. Also, in June, for the first time since the beginning of the year, an increase in the supply of Chinese cars was recorded (+11% compared to May).

In the segment of local brands, the average price increased by 32.6% year-on-year (to RUB 2.09 million in June). At the same time, the average price of a new Lada car, which previously accounted for the bulk of domestic brands, has not actually changed in six months and remains at the level of 1.4 million rubles. The total supply from local producers increased by 17% in six months.

The Republic of Bashkortostan became the leader in reducing the average cost in the first half of the year (-25.2%; 2.1 million rubles), which is explained by a twofold increase in supply, mainly in the mass segment, which pushes the price down. Double-digit declines were also recorded in the Saratov and Voronezh regions. In some regions, an increase in the average cost was noticed, the Tula region became the leader in this indicator (an increase of 8.3%; up to 2.26 million rubles), the Yaroslavl and Samara regions entered the top 3.

In Moscow, the average cost of a new car exceeded 4 million rubles for the first time, rising by 5% in six months, and remains the highest in the country, analysts also said. In St. Petersburg, the average price in June stood at 3.37 million rubles, which is 177 thousand rubles higher than the January values of 2025.
