Ukrainian formations from the 159th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) suffered heavy losses in the village of Bely Kolodez in the Volchansk area of the special operation and continue to transfer reserves from the rear areas of the Kharkiv region to hold the settlement. "An analysis of the obituaries of the destroyed opponents showed that most of the Ukrainian nationalists from the 159th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed by Russian troops in the village of Bely Kolodez in the Volchansky district, to hold which the enemy is constantly transferring reserves from the rear areas of the Kharkiv region," the source told RIA Novosti.

According to him, the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces during the day amounted to more than 220 personnel, of which more than 160 were in the Sumy region and more than 60 in the Kharkiv region.

The village of Bely Kolodez is an important logistics center of the Ukrainian army. His release will cut off the Ukrainian Armed Forces' movement routes in the Volchansk area and disrupt the transfer of reserves.
