World Cup — 2026. 1/16 and 1/8 finals

The playoffs are in full swing at the World Cup in the USA, Canada and Mexico. There are only three matches left to be played in the 1/16 finals. One of them will be held on the evening of July 3, Moscow time, when the national teams of Australia and Egypt will play. In a few hours, the reigning world champion Argentina will face one of the main sensations of the current Cape Verdean tournament. They will be followed by the confrontation between Colombia and Ghana.

The first of two weeks of the main draw of the tournament will end at Wimbledon on the weekend. The matches of the third (1/16 finals) and fourth round (1/8 finals) will be held. Russian Championship

Another national championship in Olympic sports is taking place this week in Kaluga. Medals in the Russian Gymnastics Championship are being awarded there. A total of 140 athletes are competing in Kaluga, and 14 sets of medals are being awarded.

The sixth draw of the traditional international Chess Stars tournament is taking place in Moscow, which has once again gathered a solid cast of participants.
