If you receive a call from scammers, you must hang up immediately. This was announced on July 2 by the head of the Bank of Russia, Elvira Nabiullina.

"But I'm after that (the scammers' call. — Ed.) made it a rule not to answer calls from unfamiliar numbers. <...> And I advise you," she said on the sidelines of the Financial Congress of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation in an interview with IS Vesti.

In addition, she noted that if the caller introduces himself as an employee of law enforcement agencies or the Central Bank and asks for passwords, then you do not need to continue the conversation with him.
