A resident of Kuban who has settled a lion cub wants to buy new animals

In the Krasnodar Territory, a 28-year-old resident settled a lion cub, despite the ban in force in Russia on keeping wild and exotic animals in private homes and apartments. The owner himself told Izvestia about this on July 2.

The man also admitted that he would like to have other animals.

"There's only one [beast] so far. But I want to get a license and get another one. This is not a license, but the content of a [lion cub] I was allowed," the man explained.

According to the Krasnodar resident, the "permission" was given to him by the seller of the lion. In his social networks, a man posts videos with a predator — in the footage the beast is playing at his house and riding in the car.

Last year, a lion cub living in blogger Amirkhan Magomedov's barn was confiscated in accordance with Russian law and placed in a specialized facility. At the same time, during the transportation of the lion to the zoo, the man himself transferred it to the cage from the carrier.
