Criminal cases have been opened in the Altai Territory after the deaths of two children in reservoirs. This was reported on July 2 in the press service of the investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation for the region.
"In the Rubtsovsky and Sovetsky districts, investigators of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Altai Territory have initiated criminal cases into the deaths of children in open reservoirs," the Telegram channel says.
According to the agency, on July 1, in the village of Kokshi, a four-year-old girl and her grandmother were on the shore of Lake Bolshoe Lazurnoe. The child put on an inflatable circle and entered the water. At depth, the girl fell out of the rescue vehicle and drowned.
In addition, on the same day, a 13-year-old boy drowned in the Aley River on the outskirts of the village of Bezrukavka in the Rubtsovsky district. He was at the reservoir with his relatives.
Criminal cases have been initiated on both facts under Part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence").
The day before, a girl born in 2015 drowned in Lake Orlik in the Bezhitsky district of Bryansk, a prosecutor's check was organized on the incident. The Agency is monitoring the establishment of all the circumstances of the incident.
