Four people died in an accident in Kamensk-Uralsky

Four people were killed and two more people were injured in an accident in Kamensk-Uralsky, Sverdlovsk region. This was reported on July 2 in the regional State Traffic Inspectorate (GAI).

"On Lermontov Street in Kamensk-Uralsky, traffic inspectors are investigating the circumstances of an accident with four dead people. According to preliminary data, the driver of an Infiniti car did not provide an advantage in traffic when performing a U-turn maneuver and collided with a VAZ—2110 car moving in the opposite direction," the agency said in a message on the Maks messenger.

It is specified that the driver and three passengers died from their injuries, two victims are receiving medical assistance.

Later, the traffic police added that, according to preliminary data, the driver of the Infiniti car was intoxicated. Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate and the investigative task force continue to work at the scene of the tragedy.

On July 1, the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Moscow region reported that two people died in an accident in Orekhovo-Zuyevo. According to preliminary information, at about 15:50, a Renault passenger car and a Geely passenger car collided on 1 km of the Orekhovo-Zuyevo—Demikhovo highway. The driver and passenger of the Renault were killed on the spot.
