A US Navy Sea Hawk helicopter made an emergency landing in the Arabian Sea

The American military helicopter MH-60S Sea Hawk, assigned to the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush, made an emergency landing on the water in the Arabian Sea, one of the crew members is missing. This was announced on July 1 by the Central Command of the US Navy.

"The crew of the MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter, assigned to the aircraft carrier USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77), made an emergency landing on the water in the Arabian Sea. There are no signs that hostile actions were the cause of the accident," follows from a message on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

It is noted that there were four crew members on board. Three of them were found and taken to the aircraft carrier, their condition is assessed as stable.

The publication indicates that the United States Navy is currently continuing to search for a fourth crew member who is missing. In addition, the causes of the emergency landing are being investigated.

The Israel Defense Forces press service reported on June 25 that the helicopter carrying Israeli President Yitzhak Herzog was forced to make an emergency landing at the Air Force base due to a collision with a bird. It was noted that there was no information about casualties or damage.
