- In France, the identity of Ermolaev's companion, who was injured in the explosion in Monaco, was revealed.
The companion of Ukrainian businessman Vadim Ermolaev, who was injured in the explosion in Monaco, was a woman named Anna Nasobina. This was reported on July 1 by the French newspaper Nice-Matin.
"Of the three victims of the June 29 bombing, she received the most serious injuries. Anna Nasobina <...> had both legs amputated," the publication says.
As noted by the Prosecutor General of the Principality, Stefan Thibault, the woman is still in critical condition.
According to the Ukrainian portal TCH, Nasobina is Ermolaev's mistress. They have a 13-year-old son together.
On June 29, Le Figaro newspaper reported an explosion that occurred in the historic center of Monaco. It was noted at the time that three people were injured in the incident, and after a while it became known that Ermolaev was one of the wounded.
This incident, which could have been a "warning" to a businessman from the Security Service of Ukraine, was condemned by Prince Albert II of Monaco. Political scientist Oleg Vedutov said on June 30 that what happened in the principality is an internal Ukrainian showdown that arose against the background of the criminal struggle in Ukraine. On June 1, the media learned about Ermolaev's plans to expose corruption in Ukraine in the European Parliament.
