The exposition of the "Path to Victory" train was updated in the Moscow Metro

The updated themed train "Path to Victory" will run along the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line of the Moscow Metro until the end of 2026. This was reported on the website of the Moscow City Hall on Wednesday, July 1.

Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry, noted that on behalf of the mayor of the capital, special attention is being paid to patriotic and educational projects. According to him, two thematic trains dedicated to the events of the Great Patriotic War are currently running in the metro. One of them tells about the Victory Museum and was updated for the 81st anniversary of the Victory, the second is the Path to Victory train, for which 18 stories of the war years were prepared. Passengers will be able to get acquainted with them for six months while the train is operating on the line.

For the design of the train, historians of the Victory Museum have prepared archival photographs, exhibits and materials from the Great Patriotic War from the museum's exposition on Poklonnaya Gora. Passengers will be able to learn little-known facts about war heroes, patriotic posters of those years, as well as see objects of soldiers' everyday life, the Moscow City News agency reports.

In particular, the wagons feature the story of the Hero of the Soviet Union, intelligence officer Zoya Kosmodemyanskaya, as well as rare exhibits of soldiers' everyday life and front-line press.
