Almost 4 thousand Muscovites took part in the project dedicated to the development of the Youth Electoral Club. This was stated by Marina Prozorova, Deputy head of the Moscow Department of Territorial Executive Authorities.
"After an expert assessment, the citizens voted for the best initiatives. They have selected 55 ideas that we are implementing. You can get acquainted with them on the City of Ideas platform," she noted.
Among the proposals are the creation of an electronic service with answers to topical issues of electoral law and links to relevant sources, conducting excursions for schoolchildren and students to get acquainted with the work of the Moscow City Election Commission, as well as launching the website of the Youth Electoral Club.
In addition, the Muscovites suggested organizing an exhibition with multimedia stands with materials on the history of the Russian electoral system as part of the club's annual forum, as well as posting videos on social networks explaining complex topics related to the electoral sphere.
During the thematic discussions, users of the platform left more than 7,7 thousand comments. In particular, they spoke about the creation of a club mascot and proposed the establishment of an annual club award to motivate other guys to join the community.
The Moscow Youth Electoral Club holds lectures, business games, forums, workshops and meetings with experts. During his work, his events brought together more than 10 thousand people, over 1 thousand of them became election observers at various levels.
