The Murmansk region allocated 8.5 million rubles for free excursions
The Murmansk region allocated 8.5 million rubles to organize and conduct free excursions for residents of the region. The corresponding decree was signed by Governor Andrey Chibis.
The funds were transferred to the Agency for Tourism Development and Promotion of the Murmansk Region. The regional Ministry of Tourism will submit a report on their spending by December 25.
According to Bi-Port news agency, you can sign up for free excursions as part of the Tourism for Your Own program, which started on June 10. In the current 2026, about 5 thousand Northerners can take advantage of this opportunity.
Earlier it was reported that the Murmansk region entered the top 10 popular Russian regions with ski resorts in the winter season of 2025-2026. The share of the total number of bookings was 2%, and the average price per night at the hotel was 9.1 thousand rubles.
