More than 40 people were injured when a passenger bus hit a building in Lleida, northeastern Spain. This was reported on July 1 by the Europa Press agency (EP), citing data from the Emergency Medical Service (SEM).

"SEM reported an increase in the number of injured in the incident with the bus that crashed into the facade of a building on Rambla Ferrand in Lleida on Wednesday to 43 people, of whom four are in critical condition and seven more are in slightly less critical condition," the publication says.

All the injured have now been taken to Arnau de Vilanova Hospital. It is specified that 11 more people are now in serious condition, and 32 patients are in stable condition. Some victims who received minor injuries refused to be hospitalized or limited themselves to consulting doctors.

14 fire brigades, 11 rescue units, a medical helicopter and an entire team of psychologists are involved at the scene of the tragedy.

On the same day, the Haberturk newspaper reported one dead and 12 injured in an accident involving a tourist bus and a passenger car in the Guclukeyi area of Antalya. It was noted that the impact was so strong that both vehicles overturned. As a result of the accident, the driver of a passenger car was killed.
