A small fire occurred in the consular section of the Israeli Embassy in the Russian Federation. This was announced on July 1 at the diplomatic mission.

"Yesterday, a small fire broke out in the reception area of the consular section of the Israeli Embassy. <...> There were no casualties," the diplomatic mission told TASS.

The embassy clarified that the fire was quickly extinguished. At the same time, the consular department will not receive visitors in the coming days due to technical work.

Fire in Moscow: seven people died at a construction site

A criminal case has been opened into the incident.

As a result of a fire on July 1 on the territory of a private house in Chelyabinsk, three people died. It is specified that the open gorenje was eliminated on an area of 36 sq. m. 12 specialists and three pieces of equipment were involved in extinguishing.
