- Fighter Mars told about the entry of the Russian Armed Forces attack aircraft into Konstantinovka without losses
Two companies of attack aircraft of the 77th Motorized Rifle Regiment of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation were safely and without losses brought to Konstantinovka of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). This was announced on July 1 by their guide with the call sign Mars.
"I've already started two companies, at least. <...> I'm responsible for them with my own head, and according to statistics, I don't have a single "three hundredth" (wounded. — Ed.) and even more so the two hundredth (killed. — Ed.)," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
Mars explained that his task is to inspect and clear mines from future routes that Russian military personnel will follow, check shelters, and directly escort fighters to their places of assignment. He clarified that, just like other guides, he constantly uses different routes.
The soldier said that he always moves groups covertly, constantly looks at his feet and listens to the sky to identify possible danger from there.
The head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, said a day earlier that the isolation phase of Konstantinovka was now coming to an end. According to him, the Russian Armed Forces continue to clear the city of Ukrainian militants and destroy their disparate groups.
