Air defense forces destroyed one Ukrainian UAV on approach to an industrial zone in Stavropol

The air defense forces destroyed one Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on approach to the industrial zone of Budennovsk in the Stavropol Territory. This was announced on July 1 by Governor Vladimir Vladimirov.

"An enemy drone was shot down this morning on approach to the Budennovsk industrial zone. According to operational data, there are no casualties or damage," the message in the Maks messenger says.

Vladimirov added that the unmanned danger mode operates throughout the region.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces used the tactics of "overloading" the Russian air defense and pursued primarily media goals, experts believe.

The governor of the Penza region, Oleg Melnichenko, announced on the same day that the air defense forces had destroyed one Ukrainian UAV in the sky over the region, and the debris had damaged a power line. He added that specialists are working at the scene.
