An "Air danger" regime has been declared in the Penza region
The "Air Danger" regime has started operating in the Penza Region. This was announced on July 1 by Governor Oleg Melnichenko.
"An air danger regime has been declared in the Penza Region. Sound sirens, voice alerts, SMS alerts, and notifications in official channels have been launched," he wrote on the Maks messenger.
The head of the region noted that during the operation of this regime, people need to stay away from windows and not use elevators. If a person is on the street, they should enter the nearest building, parking lot, underpass, or shelter. Melnichenko pointed out that it is worth staying in a safe place until the end of the regime.
Melnichenko said earlier in the day that the air defense forces had destroyed one Ukrainian drone in the sky over the region, and the debris had damaged a power line. At that time, an unmanned danger mode was in effect in the Penza region.
