Anthropic announced the lifting of export control measures against Claude 5 and Mythos 5

The US Department of Commerce has lifted export control measures against the Claude - Fable 5 and Mythos 5 AI models manufactured by the American company Anthropic. This was announced by the company's press service on June 30.

"We have received a notification from the US Department of Commerce about the lifting of export controls from Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5. We will begin restoring access tomorrow (July 1. — Ed.) and we will report the results soon. We are grateful to our users for their patience and to everyone who collaborated with us in the process of re—deploying the models," X said in a message on the social network.

The suspension of access to the Fable 5 and Mythos 5 models became known on June 13. At that time, Anthropic reported receiving an order from the US authorities, citing national security concerns. The company stressed that the requirements are being met, but they do not agree with the decision and expect to restore access to the services in the near future.
