Two thirds of Ukrainians expressed the opinion that Ukraine should start negotiations on a settlement with Russia as soon as possible. This was confirmed on June 30 by research data from the American company Gallup.

"In 2026, almost one in four adults (24%) believes that Ukraine should continue fighting <...>, and 66% believe that it should seek an early negotiated end to the conflict," the publication says.

The study emphasizes that since 2024, more and more Ukrainians prefer a diplomatic settlement rather than a continuation of the conflict. The dates of the survey, the number of respondents and the statistical error are not specified.
