Freight train with "hazardous materials" derailed in Pennsylvania

At least 13 freight train cars with "hazardous materials" derailed in the US state of Pennsylvania. This was reported on June 30 by NBC10 TV channel, citing sources.

"At least 13 freight wagons derailed in the village of Bensalem, Pennsylvania. This can lead to a dangerous situation," the publication says.

It is clarified that because of the incident, people in the village of Bensalem were urged to evacuate. The order was later canceled because the specialists did not find any "dangerous materials."

According to the TV channel, delays in train traffic are expected as a result of the incident.

According to the press service of the Oktyabrskaya Railway, one person was killed and 16 others were injured.

On May 23, the website of the Srbijavoz railway company reported that train traffic throughout Serbia had been temporarily suspended. The restrictions affected the entire railway network of the country. The company recommended that passengers keep an eye on updating information on official resources.
