Croatia has announced an attempt by the West to lead a conflict with Russia through Ukraine

Western states are trying to wage a conflict with Russia using Ukraine. This was reported by the Croatian edition of Advance.

"Russia is right when it says that the West is fighting against it through intermediaries. While it was limited to helping the Ukrainian defense, the situation could still be interpreted in different ways, but now, especially in the last few weeks, what is happening really looks like a war with Russia with the help of Ukraine," RIA Novosti quoted the text of the publication.

According to analysts of the publication, the Russian side has significant territorial resources and a powerful industrial base. The state apparatus of the country is able to effectively compensate for military losses, relying on the industrial and resource potential of the regions.

On June 28, Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a speech at the United Russia party congress, said that the West was putting pressure on Russia because it could not defeat it on the battlefield.
