The actor of one of the Harry Potter films, Michael Byrne, has died at the age of 82.

British actor Michael Byrne, known for his roles in one of the Harry Potter films, as well as in Coronation Street, has died at the age of 82. This was reported by Variety magazine on June 30.

"Michael Byrne, an actor known for his roles in the films Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, Braveheart and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, has died. He was 82 years old," the publication says.

It is specified that the actor died on June 20. The cause of death was not disclosed.

Byrne was born in 1943 in London. He began his professional career in 1964, joining the troupe of the National Theater, and eight years later he made his film debut. Over the decades, the actor has participated in the filming of dozens of British and American projects.
